“How did an engineer become a CG Artist?” Part 0 of like 6 or 8?

“Artistic Engineer??? Really??…”

Recently I was asked this question and it got me wondering…I’ve never really told this story. In truth – I never really thought about it…I’ve been too busy living it. But at 54, I think it’s time to reflect a little. Maybe there’s something in here someone can learn from.

So here I am – ready to spill the beans. I’ve broken it up into a few parts to keep it juicy – weaving through these moments that shaped me and brought me to where I am today.

We will go through some highs that were super fun and some lows that were pretty difficult. There will be vulnerabilities discussed, losses deeply felt and some wins that came with a few bruises.

At the end of the day – a story of resilience, of growth and a relentless pursuit to learn and get better unfolds…all of this on the foundation of my faith and my commitment to my family.

I’ll admit, I am a bit hesitant. Will anyone even care? But, hey, that’s the beauty of it, isn’t it? Sharing a piece of my soul, taking a leap of faith, and saying “Oh well, it’s just another post.”
